Case Study Introduction Page

Here we provide actual cases studies on our innovative CVA approach. Here at Company Rescue, we put into practice the techniques described on our websites. So you can be sure that the information given on this website is not theoretical, it is based on hard won experience and practical application!

We are experts in the use of the CVA mechanism in a vast array of different situations going back some 8 years or so.

The CVA process allows the debtor company and its directors to remain in control despite extreme financial pressure on the business. It is quick, flexible and cost effective. BUT it is no panacea. It is an excellent way to restructure the balance sheet but more importantly allows the control over creditors, management problems and the breathing space to deal with distressed companies.

Although many directors worry that the bank, creditors, tax man and investors will be against the use of the CVA we find the opposite - most now recognise that the company gets a chance to survive and be reorganised.

See our case studies below to give a fuller idea of how we have used it. Our Corporate Advice team is expert at taking on board the company's problems, devising a deal that all creditors can support and then removing the pressure from the management to allow the restructuring process to get underway.

The following case studies have had their names changed to protect our confidential client / advisor relationship. However, all clients are currently trading, either in CVA or have concluded the CVA (by buying out of it or being acquired). If you want to discuss any of the issues described in the cases please call Iain Campbell or Keith Steven, at Company Rescue, on 0800 9700 539.
