CS
Types: Accountancy and financial reporting.
Most
SME companies that we deal with have a deficiency in the
provision of internal management accountancy and financial
reporting. Many have reasonable information but do not have
the skills available to analyse and use this information.
Often
mistakes are made after relying upon incorrect information,
incredibly some people rely on annual audited accounts to
provide them with sufficient information to run their business
for the next 12 months!
We
are very keen in all cases to ensure that we get a detailed
financial picture of the business as soon as we are appointed.
We then spend some considerable time on financial forecasting
to ensure that the business has sufficient working capital
after we have rescued or restructured it.
What
do our CS people provide?
Introduction
of daily cashflows, disciplined budget setting, 5 year rolling
financial forecasts, debtor collection policies, negotiations
and liaison with banks and other finance providers. From
recruitment of data entry clerks to acting as quasi finance
director we provide a high quality experienced eye at a
modest and sensible cost.
We
work closely with a number of quality accountants with long
turnaround experience. One such organisation is
Insight
Associates in Essex.
We
run a series of seminars in conjunction with Insight. It
has become increasingly apparent that a number of key elements
are required in order to turn struggling businesses around.
Insight Associates and KSA have come together to present
this workshop to demonstrate how these dynamics can really
work. One of the principle problems which is addressed is
the restructuring of struggling, yet fundamentally viable
businesses. We also go on to discuss the essential change
management and structural issues which must form a part
of any successful turnaround.
The
workshops are at Insight's offices in Stansted Mountfitchet,
near Bishops Stortford, Essex, commence at 9:30 am and will
last for approximately three to three and a half hours.
There will be a light lunch supplied afterwards. The aim
is to provide an interactive session with debate and participation
from all those present. Consequently, in order to give maximum
benefit to those attending we have limited numbers to just
eight participants from varying backgrounds. The result
should be a more detailed understanding of how innovative
and creative techniques can help restructure a failing business
and prepare it for a successful future.
